Voices of Tha Block: The Stories We Choose To Tell

Voices of Tha Block and Art All Night Previews are collaborating to create a space of community. Attendees will prepare a meal together and explores what it means to collage and document identities together.

Voices of Tha Block: The Heart’s Art is an oral histories initiative, hosted by Tha Block Trenton, that will allow for Trentonians to share the responsibility of preparing a meal while engaging in meaningful conversations that assess the needs of building a self-sufficient community.  In using meal preparation as a model for community care and collective healing, we will focus on gathering folks through various topics to target specific needs that are recurring.
